Lily comes home from a long day at work and after setting her dinner in the oven, she joins her fiancé, Mark, in the living room, bringing a kitchen timer set for five minutes: dinner will be ready soon. As Mark reminds her of their upcoming arrangements with his mother for that, Lily lets out a frustrated comment about her future mother-in-law that initiates the fight between the lovers.
